What are we trying to achieve?

It is ATC’s experience that driving habits can resurface between 24-36 months, this is typically the period of time we see drivers return to old habits neglecting prior training.

The refresher program has a similar format to our traditional Proactive Driver Training program with a focus on:

  • Urban environments
  • Multi-lane high-speed roads
  • Rural cross-country routes

ATC will look to work with an organisations fleet department, fleet management partner or chosen incident management provider to understand a delegates incident history. Accompanying this information is the ADDR (Assessment Driver Development Record) and DCQ (Drivers Course Questionnaire) from the delegates previous driver training with ATC.

This historic information and a thorough consultation with the delegate allow our expert instructors to choose a series of routes and environments which best address the delegates most important areas of risk.
