What are we trying to achieve?

Ideal for individuals who are required to drive regularly with committed response times.

Ideally suited for doctors, surgical teams and police personnel, the course is based around Roadcraft and ATC’s Proactive Driver Training System.

Participants will learn the skills required to make rapid, smooth and above all, safe progress.

Edexcel IHCD Driver Training Programme I (D1) – BTEC Level 2 Ambulance Driving

How many in the class and how long does it last?

Ratio:   1:1, 2:1 or 3:1

Duration:  5 days

Where is it?

At ATC HQ – North Weald Aerodrome, Essex.

What are we trying to achieve?

This course is for delegates who wish to drive ambulance vehicles on non-emergency duties i.e. patient transport.

Edexcel IHCD Driver Training Programme II (D2) – BTEC Level 2 Ambulance Emergency Driving

How many in the class and how long does it last?

Ratio:   1:1, 2:1 or 3:1

Duration:  10 days

Where is it?

At ATC HQ – North Weald Aerodrome, Essex.

What are we trying to achieve?

This course is an ideal supplement for further learning following completion of the D1 course.

Content is tailored to delegates who wish to drive ambulance vehicles on blue light emergency duties.
