The Crash Scene Safety Course is launched


This all new three hour course, prepares delegates for an emergency situation. The syllabus has been carefully put together to simulate emergencies and to prepare individuals for situations that may well present themselves in the course of their work.
Course content includes:-

Practical exercises covering:-

  • Personal Safety at the Scene of an RTA
  • First Aid including Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Control of Bleeding, Recognising and Immobilising suspected broken bones,
  • Recognising and dealing with Shock
  • Dealing with a simulated RTA
  • Understanding your role as an RTA

 

Taking action including:-

  • Airfield based training
  • Prioritising the risk
  • Crash scene scenarios
  • Putting theory into practice
  • Observers guidance and support
  • Await the arrival of emergency services

 

Theory and Debriefing to include:-

  • Back to the classroom
  • Debrief
  • Lessons learnt
  • Where improvements can be made
  • Q&A session
  • Observers comments and recommendations
